thoroughfare.Alwaysaskyourpassengerstogetoutofthe
carandwaitinasafeareaawayfromothertrafc.Switch
onhazardlights.
Beforechangingawheel,ensurethefrontwheelsareinthe
straightaheadposition,applytheparkingbrakeandselect
neutralgear.
Observethefollowingprecautions:
•Ensurethejackispositionedonrm,levelground;
NEVERonsoftground,orovermetalgratingsor
manholecovers,DONOTplaceadditionalmaterial
betweenthejackandtheground,thismayjeopardise
thesafetyofthejackingoperation.
•NEVERjackthecarwithpassengersinsideorwitha
caravanortrailerconnected!
•Ifjackingonaslopeisessential,placechocksatthefront
andrearofthewheeldiagonallyoppositetheonetobe
removed.
PositioningtheJack
NEVERworkbeneaththecarwiththejack
astheonlymeansofsupport.Thejackis
designedforwheelchangingonly!
NEVERjackthecarusinganyjackingpoints
otherthanthedesignatedpointsshown.
Seriousdamagetothecarcouldresult.
Avoidaccidentalcontactwithanyunderbody
parts,especiallyhotexhaustsystem
components.
