T oaccessthebattery,releasethexingsandmovethetop
ofthebatterycoverasideasshowninillustration.
BatterySafety
Batteriescontainsulphuricacid,whichisbothcorrosive
andpoisonous.Wearsuitableprotectiveequipmentwhen
handlingbatteriestoprotectyoureyes,skinandclothing.
Ifaspillageoccurs:
Onclothingortheskin-removeanycontaminated
clothingimmediately,ushtheskinwithlargeamounts
ofwater,andseekmedicalattentionurgently.
Intheeyes-ushwithcleanwaterimmediatelyforat
least15minutes.Seekmedicalattentionurgently.
SwallowingbatteryacidcanbefatalunlessIMMEDIA TE
actionistaken-seekmedicalattentionurgently.
BatteryDisconnectionandReplacement
Note:NEVERruntheenginewiththebattery
disconnected,ordisconnectthebatterywhilethe
engineisrunning.
Batteriescontainsulphuricacid,whichisbothcorrosive
andpoisonous.Ifabatteryrequiresreplacementcontact
anMGAuthorisedRepairer.Onlytareplacement
batteryofthesametypeandspecicationastheoriginal
tomaintainthecorrectvehiclefunctionality.
Beforedisconnectingorremovingthebattery,ensurethat
thestarterswitchandallelectricalequipmentisturnedoff.
