•Retractthebelttocheckiftheretractionissmooth,
continuousandcomplete.
•Checkiftheseatbeltsystemislooseorbroken,orhas
partsthatmayaffectthefunctionofseatbeltsystem.
•Checkiftheseatbeltwarninglampfunctionswell.
Iftheseatbeltfailstopassanyoneoftheabovecheck,
pleasecontactanMGAuthorisedRepairerforrepair
immediately.
SeatBeltsMaintenance
DoNotretordismantletheseatbeltsystem
byyourself.Therepairoftheseatbelt
systempartsmustbeconductedbyanMG
AuthorisedRepairer.
Ensurenosharpobjectwillbestuckinthe
seatbelt.DoNotallowliquidorforeign
objectsenterintothebuckle,otherwiseit
maycausemetaltabunabletoengagewith
buckle.
Seatbeltscanonlybecleanedwithneutralsoapandwarm
water.Donotuseanysolventtocleanseatbelt.Do
notbleachordyeseatbelt.Otherwiseitmayweakenthe
strengthofseatbelt.Aftercleaning,seatbeltshallbewiped
cleanwithclothanddryinashadedplace.Donotreturn
seatbelttoretractorbeforeitiscompletelydry.Keepseat
beltcleananddry.
Iftherearecontaminantsaccumulatedintheretractor,the
retractionofseatbeltwillbeslow.Pleaseusecleanand
dryclothtocleanthecontaminants.
ReplacingSeatBelts
Collisionaccidentsmaydamagetheseatbelt
system.Theseatbeltsystemmaynotbe
abletoprotectusersafterdamageandmay
causeseriousinjuryorevendeath.After
theaccident,seatbeltsshallbecheckedand
replacedasneededimmediately.
Seatbeltmaynotrequirereplacementafterminorcollision
accident.However,otherpartsoftheseatbeltsystemlike
metaltab,buckle,retractor,etc.maytransformorbreak
upincollision.PleasegotoanMGAuthorisedRepairer
formaintenanceorreplacementofseatbeltassembly.
