IMPORTANT
TheEPBcannotbeoperatedduringthelowbattery
voltagecondition.
ReleasingtheEPB
•PlacetheignitionswitchinpositionII,depressthebrake
pedal,andpresstheEPBswitch.
•IftheindicatorintheEPBswitchandtheindicator
intheinstrumentpackareextinguished,theEPBis
(released).
StartAssist
TheEPBcanpredictthedriver'sintentionand
automaticallyreleasetheEPB.
Whenyoufastenyourseatbelt,starttheengine,shiftinto
D/R/W/Sgear,depresstheacceleratorpedalandreadyto
startoff,EPBwillbeautomaticallyswitchedoff.
EmergencyBraking
Inappropriateuseoftheelectricparkbrake
canleadtoaccidentsandinjuries.Donot
applytheelectricparkbrakeforvehicle
braking,unlessinemergency.
DuringemergencybrakingusingtheEPB,DO
NOTinsertorremovetheignitionkey,this
couldresultinseriousinjury.
Incaseofanemergencyduringvehicledriving,suchas
failingtostopthevehiclewiththebrakepedal,youcan
