8. Use wire ropes and a container spreader bar (2) that
have adequate length to prevent machine damage.
9. Pass the wire ropes under the tracks as shown, and
anchor the ropes on the crane hook.
10. Lift the machine 10 in.–12 in. (25 cm–30 cm) and
check its balance. If it is not balanced, lower the
machine to the ground and adjust the boom or dozer
blade positions.
