1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 Sartorius Industrial Scales GmbH & Co. KG requested Approval of the apparatus listed in
Section 1.4 for compliance with the standards listed in;
1.1.1 Section 1.3.1 as Intrinsically Safe for Class I, II, III Division 1, Groups A, B, C, D, E, F,
and G hazardous (Classified) locationsin accordance with drawing 66015-751-07,
Intrinsically Safe for Class I, Zone 1, Group IIC hazardous (Classified) locations and
Intrinsically Safe for Zone 21, Group IIC hazardous (Classified) locations;
1.1.2 Section 1.3.2 as Intrinsically Safe for Class I, II, III Division 1, Groups A, B, C, D, E, F,
and G hazardous locations, Intrinsically Safe for Class I, Zone 1, Group IIC hazardous
locations in accordance with drawing 66015-751-07; and
1.1.3 Section 1.3.3 as Intrinsically Safe II 2 G, Ex ia IIC T6 and II 2 D Ex ia IIIC T80°C.
