 Error in RAM  Check all system parameters for
unrealistic settings. End program-
ming, switch the machine off and
then on again. If the error is still pre-
sent: Carry out a Config.-Reset, re-
program (with Save Data cards). If
the fault still cannot be rectified, re-
place the unit control system.

Selection locked
 The product button is jammed or
dirty
 Dismantle the keyboard PCB, clean
or replace the buttons, reinstall the
PCB.
Selection locked
door open
 The limit switch is not in the correct
position (screw loose)
 The door limit switch is faulty
 Check if the door operating pin is
able to actuate the button roller; fas-
ten the switch into the correct posi-
tion.
 Electrical check: see “control system
diagram, panel switch”
temp. sensor coffee
 The temperature sensor in the “cof-
fee” instant heater is faulty (interrup-
tion or short circuit)
 Electrical check: see “control system
diagram, temperature sensor, coffee”
temp. sensor steam
 The temperature sensor in the steam
generator is faulty (interruption or
short circuit)
 Electrical check: see “control system
diagram, temperature sensor coffee”
temp. sensor tea
 The temperature sensor in the “tea”
instant heater is faulty (interruption
or short circuit)
 Electrical check: see “control system
diagram, temperature sensor tea”
timeout heat steam
 Temperature not reached after 8
minutes
 Electrical check: see “control system
diagram, steam generator, 3 kW”
timeout heater tea
 Temperature not reached after 4
minutes
 Electrical check: see “control system
diagram, “tea” instant heater, 3 kW”

 External temperature sensor is pro-
grammed but not installed or is de-
fective
 Check the options such as the
booster, automatic steam cut-off etc.
Select product
replace water filter
 Water filter with restricted capacity is
used up.
 Replace the filter and reset the water
counter in the “machine info” menu.If
necessary also update the device re-
cord sheet.
