Irregular or uneven measures in cup

Programming Incorrect water metering setting Program the water quantity to adapt to
the cups; take “lost water” from re-
pressing into account, and serve a prod-
uct to check (use the same size cup!!)
Control system Control system defective (RAM or micro
processor)

Machine assembly The machine is not erected in a horizon-
tal position, the coffee does not run
evenly in the outlet holes into the coffee
outlet cup.
Align, check that the coffee outlet cup is
correctly fitted.
Water connection Local pressure too high / too low or not
constant
Check the local pressure; if the local
pressure is above approx. X.X bar install
a decompression valve
Set the pump pressure to 7.0 – 7.5 bar
Flowmeter dirty or defective – thus irregular pulse
generation.
clean / replace
Safety valve not water-tight; some of the metered
water escapes through this valve.
replace / NOTE: Find out why the safety
valve is not water-tight: Is it connected
with the instant heater overheating, be-
cause the temperature sensor is not
functioning properly?
Check with manometer

Outlet cup used has outlet holes that are
too big.
Use outlet cup with smaller outlet holes
(see spare parts catalogue) (diameter
2.8 mm for machines without additional
water by-pass)
Coffee outlet too slow See “coffee running slowly / unevenly”
