The insulation voltage is deviating too much from the set value
If this message appears, please contact the manufacturer of the testing device.
The maximum current of this function test has been exceeded
When this message appears, the maximum current of the function test has been exceeded. If the testing
device is equipped with a function test 2A, the test object must consume no current higher than 2A.
The short circuit resistance has been fallen below!
Before every function test and before every leakage current test, a short-circuit test between L and N is
performed. (At 3-phase devices between L1-N, L2-N, L3-N, L1-L2, L2-L3, L1-L3)
For this purpose, a short-circuit resistance can be entered in the menu “General Data”. When this short-
circuit resistance is fallen below, the above message appears and no function voltage will be connected to
the test object. When the short-circuit resistance is set to 0, this test is disabled.
High voltage disabled. (key switch)
The high voltage needs to be enabled with a key switch. This key switch is at the front panel of the testing
device. If there are two key switches, the left key switch is intended for enabling the high voltage.
Attention! Two-hand start interrupted.
If the device is equipped with a two-hand start, the two-hand start must remain activated during the high-
voltage test and, optionally, also during the function test. The above message appears, if the two-hand start
is not activated.
Connect blackbox! The testing device must perform a self-test, now. For this purpose, a blackbox
with defined resistances is connected; the resistances are measured by the testing device.
Under menu point “Self-test” in the menu “General data”, the blackbox test is activated and a blackbox test
will no be performed. This test serves to check the function of the testing device. This test must be “go” –
otherwise no other tests are possible.
Disconnect blackbox! The self-test is completed - the blackbox must now be disconnected!
This message appears after a successful blackbox test (self-test) and reminds you to disconnect the
blackbox.
It is not possible to load another test program, before a self-test has been performed.
If the self-test is activated, it must be completed before another test can be performed.
Test object is being discharged
After a high-voltage test with DC voltage, this window is indicated until the test object has been discharged.
Error at CAN-module HVDC
If this error message appears, please switch the device off and on. If this error occurs again, please contact
the manufacturer of the testing device.
Attention! The voltage of the substitute leakage current test doesn't exist.
Please contact the manufacturer of the testing device.
Attention! The protection cover is open
Some testing devices are equipped with an additional connection for a protection cover. This connection has
a safety contact, which is not closed. Please, close the protection cover.
For the connection of the protection cover, please refer to the schematics on the CD delivered together with
the tester.
Error at CAN output module for the medical leakage current test
If this error message appears, please switch the device off and on. If this error occurs again, please contact
the manufacturer of the testing device.
