3 Explanation of symbols and
safety notices
3.1 Explanation of symbols
The following symbols are used to indicate
information that will make work easier, extend the
service life of the machine, preserve the environment
and prevent accidents.
DANGER
This symbol denotes information that could lead to
serious personal injury or possibly death if it is not
adhered to.
WARNING
This symbol denotes information that could lead
to personal injury if it is not adhered to.
NOTE
This symbol denotes information that helps
to prevent damage to the machine.
TIP
Information that contributes to a general
improvement of work or machine output is marked
with this symbol.
ENVIRONMENT
This symbol denotes information that contributes
to preserving the environment.
3.2 Safety regulations
The safety notices are present where there is direct
danger. General safety notices are described
hereafter and must be adhered to.
DANGER
The operating safety of the machine must be
checked regularly, at least once a year. You
can commission Aebi Schmidt works customer
service to carry out an occupational safety check
based on current accident prevention guidelines,
if required.
DANGER
All safety and hazard instructions for the
machine must be observed and retained in
full and in a legible condition.
