5.1 Intended use
The machine is intended for summer and winter
service on airport areas. Special use on motorways
and major roads is possible. The machine is only
suitable for the following applications.
Use at airports
Winter use
 Moving residual snow, slush and water with the
blast nozzles.
 Picking up surface water (at temperatures
over 5°C) and defrosting agents with the suction
duct.
Summer use
 Picking up rubber residue, leaves and dirt with
the sweeper unit
 Removing residual dirt with the blast nozzles
 Picking up cleaning agents with the suction duct.
Use on motorways and major roads
 Use on motorways and major roads
It is not permitted to pick up water, snow, slush or
dirt with water being added at temperatures below
5°C. The machine must not be used to gather lightly
flammable, explosive or hazardous materials. Its use
for any other or additional purposes is considered
improper. Aebi Schmidt does not accept any liability
for resultant damage. The risk is borne solely by the
operator.
If the machine is being used in ways that are not
recommended or specified, ensure that there is no
danger to persons and that the product safety
remains guaranteed.
