❱❘ Squish check
•
The squish check is carried out measuring the distance between the piston crown , at Top
Dead Center, and the combustion chamber.
•
As a reference, fit a 0,5mm thick base gasket.
•
Place a bit of tin wire on the piston crown, parallel to the wrist pin.
•
Fit the cylinder head, tighten the screws.
•
Rotate the crankshaft to make sure the piston moves past Top Dead Centre
•
Remove the combustion chamber, and measure the tin wire thickness.

• Fit the cylinder head cover and its 6 screws

with new copper washers, cross-tighten the
screws at a 10Nm torque.
