4.8 Temperature-controlled flow cell drawing and component

4.8.1 Assembly drawing for temperature-controlled flow cell
(Standard: 228-37440-94, Semi-micro: 228-45605-94)
Reference: Procedure for tightening lens fixing screws (part 16) (factory method)
1) Verify that the lens surface fits completely inside the counterbore in the
housing. Do not use gaskets that are too warped. Doing so can raise the
lens and cause it to break during tightening.
2) Use a torque screwdriver to temporarily tighten screws to 0.4 Nm (4
kgf·cm).
3) Use a torque screwdriver to finish tightening screws to 0.8 Nm (8
kgf·cm).
4) Verify there is no lens breakage.
5) Retighten screws to 0.8 Nm (8 kgf·cm) eight hours later.
