6.3 .12 Adjusting the Hg lamp

4 is inputted into LAMP in FACTORY mode, and only Hg lamp is made to
turn on.

2 is inputted into LAMP POSI and a lamp change mirror is changed to the
direction of Hg (V is W lamp) lamp.
(3)
After adjust the M1, slit, M2, GR and M3 assemblies.
(4)
Loosen the nut, turn stopper screw “A” and rotate M1 until the Hg lamp
image is centered over the monochromator slit. Once adjusted, secure the
stopper screw in place by tightening the nut.
