figure 84 shows how a Scheimpflug adapter can be used to change the angle between
the image plane and the lens plane so that the plane of focus is parallel to the laser
line. The setup can be described with the following formula:
where a is the distance between the lens plane and the plane of focus, f is the focal
distance (between the lens and the camera), Ø is the tilt angle between the image
plane and the lens plane and γ is the angle between the lens plane and the plane of
focus.
