1.3.2 Ambient temperature
The specifications of Directive 94/9/EC apply to the ambient temperature range of from  20 °C to + 40 °C.
By adopting various suitable measures the gear unit may be used at ambient temperatures of between
 40 °C and + 60 °C. Siemens must always have approved and confirmed the temperature range and the
extended temperature range in the order specification.
In individual cases the permissible ambient temperature range specified on the rating plate always applies.
1.4 Measuringsurface soundpressure level
The gear unit complies with a soundpower level which places it in the gearunit type class defined in
VDI 2159 which is applied to produce the 80 % characteristic curve of the emission characteristic map.
Adherence to limit values can, under specified Siemens test conditions, be assumed with statistical
certainty.
1.5 Weights

1.6 Bearing life

a sufficiently large number of identical bearings prior to the occurrence of initial signs of material fatigue,
unless otherwise contractually agreed.
