may occur.

" is reached, Siemens must be consulted.

Risk of damage to or destruction of the backstop and/or the gear unit through incorrect direction of
rotation.
Do not allow the motor to run adversely to the blocking direction of the gear unit.
Observe the notice fixed to the gear unit.

backstop or through sparks.
If a potentially explosive atmosphere develops, the release mechanism (type FXRT only) must not be
operated.
If a unit of this type with release mechanism is used, the operating instructions for this backstop must be
followed.
5.8 Cooling
Depending on requirements, the gear unit is fitted with a fan, a cooling coil or a separately provided
oilsupply system. In case of use of a separately provided oilsupply system, the separate operating
instructions for this oilsupply system must also be observed.
Note
The oilsupply system must have been designed and manufactured for use in accordance with
Directive 94/9/EC.
Note
When fitting the gear unit free convection must be ensured on the housing surface, in order to definitely
avoid overheating the gear unit.
