5.5.3 Connectable DRIVE-CLiQ components
Components
As a rule, all SINAMICS components approved for SINUMERIK can be connected using the
DRIVE-CLiQ interface.
Table 5-18 Components with DRIVE-CLiQ
Component Description
Active/Smart Line Module,
Booksize
Line Modules provide the central power supply to the DC link.
Single/Double Motor
Module, Booksize
Motor Modules draw their power from the DC link to supply the
connected motors.
SMC10/20/30 Cabinet-Mounted Sensor Modules are needed when a motor with a
DRIVE-CLiQ interface is not available and when external encoders
are required in addition to the motor encoder.
SME20/25 Measuring systems outside the cabinet can be connected directly to
the Sensor Module External.
NX10/15 Drive expansion module for up to 6 axes
