inch floppy disk drive is part of the base configuration. The quarter-inch,
4 mm and 8 mm cartridge tape drives and the CD-ROM drive (default installation
medium for Reliant UNIX and SINIX V5.42) can be ordered as options.
The drives are located behind the drive bay door and are switched on automatically
when the system is powered up.
Opening the drive bay door
Ê Press the marked spot. The door swings out and can then be pulled fully open.
If the door is locked, you must unlock it with the green key.
Closing the drive bay door
Ê Push the drive bay door until it clicks shut.
If you are not going to be using the drives for some time, you should keep the drive
bay door closed.
