2.7 Notes on monitors
Only trained specialists are authorized to open monitors.
Unauthorized intervention, particularly involving changes to the high voltage supply
or installation of a different type of tube, may cause a considerable increase in x-ray
emissions. Devices modified in this way no longer comply with the terms of the
license and must not be operated.
Further information on safe operation and on ergonomic positioning is provided in
the operating manual for your monitor.
2.8 Ergonomics
Before setting up your system you should select a location which is suitable for
working at the monitor.
Ê Avoid direct and reflected glare.
