10.3 The quarter-inch cartridge tape drive

The access LED is lit whenever the drive is active.
The quarter-inch cartridge tape drive is capable of reading and writing cartridges
with a capacity of 155 and 525 MB. It can also read 60-MB cartridges.
Opening the drive
You should open the drive door only when you need to insert or remove a cartridge.
At all other times the door should be left closed to keep dirt out.
You must not open the drive door while the access LED is lit.
Ê Press the release button (3) in the top right-hand corner of the drive door and
swing the door down as far as it will go.
Closing the drive
Ê Close the drive by pressing lightly on the drive door.
