Procedure
1. Mount the device.

2. Connect the device.

3. Switch on the power supply.

4. Wait for 2 seconds.
After this startup time, the device is operational.
5. Wait 5 minutes to get exact measured values.
6. If you want to change the factory settings, con󹪝gure the device using the buttons (Page 106)
or remote operation.

7. Lock the device.

Requirement
• You have connected the device correctly. (Page 77)
• The terminal voltage on the device is correct. (Page 193)
Procedure
Switch on the supply voltage.
• Product name and 󹪝rmware version appear brie󹪞y on the display.
• The measured values are shown on the display.
For a device without a display, you read o󹪜 the current output as follows:
– Over the remote control (e.g. SIMATIC PDM).
– With a DC current measuring device.
