mation presently shown on the screen refers to Folly
Beach, Folly Island in South Carolina.
See "Setup TideTracker*" for how to select a different
tide station.
$ATEis the actual date for the information in the dis-
play. And you can have either "Standard time" or "Day-
light savings time". See "Setup TideTracker*".
The "waves" in the display are numbered 1 to 4. The
vertical cursor indicates actual time and is placed be-
tween the last and the next high/low tide indication.
The cursor can be moved manually by means of the
cursor key to provide information of the tide later on
during the day.
F The 24-hour time schedule will always run from the
last high/low tide indication and 24 hours ahead, it
does not follow morning till night.
(EIGHTNOWor(EIGHTCURSORFT indi-
cates that the tide is flooding and is presently (44 min-
utes past 1500 hours (3PM)) at a height of 1.4ft above
mean lower low water.
The indication of 1-HIGH, 2-LOW, 3-HIGH and 4-
LOW in the display example simply indicates at what
time it is high and low tides (corresponding to
"waves").
