Use the cursor key from
the keypad to go to the
function you wish to
change, insert new value
and toggle between avail-
able values with the +/-
key, and confirm with
[ENT].
To #HOOSENEWTIDESTATION, press the +/- key to tog-
gle between FROM CHART, CLOSEST and OFF, press
[ENT] to confirm.
Choosing CLOSEST will present a list of all the clos-
est tide stations (max. 9) to the ship’s position. Press [1]
to select the closest of the tide stations. A legend say-
ing FIGURING TIDE, PLEASE WAIT will appear on the
screen for a moment, and then go back to the Tide-
Tracker display with the new information. If none are
available, you will receive the legend "None found".
Choosing FROM CHART will call forward the chart
display. Move cursor to the vicinity of the station you
wish to select information from, and press
[ENT]. A list
of max. 9 tide stations will appear. To select a specific
tide station, key in the number next to it, or use the cur-
sor to highlight the name on the list, and press [ENT].
