Key Description

Power. For power input 12 or 24 V DC input (see “Connecting power” on page
24), Power control (see “Power control” on page 24) and external alarm
(see “External alarm” on page 27).

Video In. Supplied cable provides two composite video inputs (see “Video In”
on page 36) and one RS422 port (NMEA0183 TX, RX) (see “NMEA0183 wir-
ing” on page 35)

SimNet. Connects NSE display to a SimNet or NMEA2000 network (see
“SimNet” on page 28).

Video Out. Connect to an external monitor via optional DVI cable (see “Video
Out” on page 37).

Network 1, 2 and 3. Three Ethernet network ports for connecting to other NSE
displays and Network modules. (see “Ethernet” on page 33)

USB. Used for Software updates, chart data base updates, backing up way-
points routes and tracks. A better option to the front port if it is exposed to
the weather.
Note. A Water proof optional USB cable is available to extend this port to a dry
