explosive under certain conditions. A lways work in a well-venti-

vic init y. Open cap slow ly. If a differential pres sure condition is no -
ticed (whistling sound heard when loosening fuel tank cap) have
vehicle inspected and/or repaired before further operation. Do not
o verfi ll or top off the fuel tank before placing the vehicle in a warm
area. As temperature increases, f uel expands and might overf low.
Always wipe off any fuel s pill age from the vehicle. Periodical ly
verify fuel s yste m.
Basics for Passenger
Never ride as a passenger unless the snowm obile is equipped with
a passenger seat, and sit only on the designated passenger seat.
Always w ear a DOT approved helme t and follow the same dress-
ing guidelines as those recommended for the operator and de-
scribed in this guide.
Make sure that you are able to achi ev e a s table s tance, both feet
resting positively on the footboards of footrests with good grip,
andthatyouareabletoholdonfirmlytothehandholds.
Once underway, if you feel uncom fortable or insecure for any rea-
son, don ‘t wait, tell th e d riv er to slo w down or stop.
