Manufacturer's Respons ibility
Beginning with 2007 model year e n g ines, snowmobile manufactur-
ers of snowmobile engines needs to deter mine the ex haust emis-
sion levels for each engine horsepower family and certify these en-
gines with the United States of America Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA). A n emissions control information label, showing emis-
sion le ve ls and engine specifications, must be placed o n each vehicle
at the time of manu fact ure.
Dealer's Responsibility
W hen performing service on a certified SK I-DOO snowmobiles that
carry an emissions control information label, adjustments must be
kept within published fact ory specifications.
