6) Brake Lever
Located on the left hand side of handlebar. When squeezed, the
brake is applied. When released, it automatically returns to its orig-
inal p osit ion . Braki ng effect is proportiona l to the p ressure app li ed
on the le ver and to the ty pe of terrain a nd its snow c ov erage.
7) Parking B rake Lever
Located on left hand side of handlebar. Parking brake sho uld be used
whenever snowmobile is parked.
W henever parking brake is applied and engine is running, injection
oil level/parking brake pilot lamp lights up to remind you that it is
engaged.

To Engage Me chanis m
Squeeze brake lever and maintain while pulling locking lever with a
finger. When brake lever is held at halfway the parking brake should
be fully applied.
N O TE: On some mode ls, locking lever can be adjusted in two differ-
ent positions.
To Release Mechanism
Squeeze brake lever. Locking lever will automatically return to its
or iginal position. Always release par king brake before riding.
