Exhaust System
The tail pipe of the muffler should be centered with the exit hole
in the bottom pan. Exhaust system m ust be free o f rust or leaks.
Make sure that gear clam ps are properly tigh tened.
The exhaust system is designed to reduce noise and to improve the
to tal p erforma nc e of the en gine . Modificatio n may be i n violatio n of
local laws.
CAUTION: If any exhaust system co mpo nen t is rem o ved, modi-
fied or da m aged, severe eng ine damag e may re su lt.
Oil Injection System
Always maintain a sufficient amount of recommended injection oil in
the injection oil reservoir.
CAUTION: Never allow oil reser vo ir to be almost emp t y. Do not
mi smatch oil re se rvoir c ap with fue l tan k ca p. Insta ll ca p that is
id entified OIL.
WARNING
Check level and refill every time you refuel. Be carefu l not to
overfill. W ipe off any spillag e. Oil is highly flammable when
heated.
