Track Condition
WARNING
Rem ove tether cord cap before performing any maintenance
or adjus tm ent, unl es s othe r wi se spec ifi ed. Vehicl e must b e
par ked in a saf e place, a way from the trail.
Remove teth er cord cap.
Lift the rear of the snowmobile and support it with a wide-base snow-
mobile m echanical stand with a rear deflector p an el. W ith the engine
off, rotate the track by hand, and inspect condition. If worn or cut, or
if track fibers are exposed, or if missing or defective inserts or guides
are noted; contact an authorized SKI-DOO dealer.

If your snowmobile is equipped with a B RP approved studded track
or a Ice Ser ies pre-studded track, PROCEED WITH A VISU AL IN-
SPECTION OF Y OU R TRA CK BEFORE EACH US E.
Look for any defects, such as:
– perforat ions i n the tra ck
– tears in the tra ck (pa rticu larly around tracti on hol es on studded
track s)
– lugs that are broken or tor n off, exposing portions of rods
– delamination of the r ubber
