Chapter 13 ShopStream Connect
This chapter includes a brief introduction to some of the key features of the ShopStream Connect

The ShopStream Connect™ (SSC) software is PC-based software that extends the capabilities of
your diagnostic tool. Using ShopStream Connect software with your diagnostic tool allows you to
do the following:
• View, Print, and Manage data saved from your Diagnostic tool.
• Move and copy your data between the diagnostic tool and your PC.
• View and Print trouble codes saved with select diagnostic tools. This allows you to share the
data in a report format with vehicle owners or other technicians.
• Add or edit notes and comments to diagnostic tool data files.
• Download and install diagnostic tool software updates and upgrades.

13.1 Using SSC (Connecting to your PC)
z To connect and use SSC with your diagnostic tool:
1. Download and install SSC on your PC from:
https://www.snapon.com/diagnostics/UK/Diagnostics/ShopStreamConnect.htm
2. Turn your diagnostic tool on.
3. Connect the supplied USB cable from the USB jack on your diagnostic tool to your PC:
4. From the diagnostic tool Home screen, select Tools > Connect-to-PC.
The “Device is now in Connect-to-PC mode” screen message is displayed (Figure 13-1) and
the ShopStream Connect software will open automatically on your PC (Figure 13-2).
