Escalated Dispense
Your pharmacist or care team will determine the length of time you have to dispense your medication
before spencer determines that you are getting close to missing your dispense time. The time range
can be anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours.
If the normal reminder goes unnoticed for that pre-determined time range, an orange screen displays to
tell you that limited time is left to take your medications. The Dispense button ashes and a louder alert
sounds.
To dispense your meds, touch the Dispense button.
Opening the Pack
With the printed side facing you, locate the small cut at the arrow at the upper
edge and gently tear straight down the right side. Stop tearing about halfway
down the pack to prevent the pills from falling out.
