spencer’s Components
The spencer
®
SmartHub is an in-home medication dispenser that makes taking multiple medications
easier. The following are several main components of the device.
Carrying Case
The box in which spencer is delivered to your home. Please
store this box in a safe location in case you ever need to
return or exchange your device.
Dispenser
Located beneath the device’s touch screen, this is the slot
where your medication packs are delivered.
Lid
Door-like panel at the top of the spencer device that
opens and closes for inserting, securing, and removing the
medication rell.
Medication Rell
Medication cartridge (rell) spooled specically for you by
your pharmacist that contains medication packs.
Pack
Plastic package containing your medications and identifying
information that is produced by a strip packaging system.
Rell Tub
The well at the top of the spencer device where the
medication cartridge (rell) is placed.
Touch Screen
Similar to the screens used on cell phones and tablets,
spencer’s front display panel enables you to interact with him
by touching the screen with your nger.
USB Port
Slot for charging compatible devices.
