This means that:
• A 100 engine hours inspection shall be done every 100 hours of engine operation;
•
A 100 engine hours inspection shall be done every 200 hours of engine operation; plus
additional 200 engine hours checks:
- Check spark plug connectors for tight t;
- Renew heat insulation of exhaust headers;
- Flush coolant system and replace coolant;
- Change air lter;
- Change ne lters in fuel system.
• A 100 engine hours and a 200 engine hours inspection shall be done every 600 hours of
engine operating time, plus additional 600 engine hours check:
- Check the reduction gear wheels of the engine.
Refer to the Periodic Inspections Check List, chapter 5.4 to see all relevant inspection tasks for
each inspection.
BREAKIN INSPECTION OF ENGINE AND AIRFRAME
In order to demonstrate continuing airworthiness, a new, overhauled or rebuilt airframe and en-
gine must be inspected initially once (Break-In Inspection) after
• the rst 25 engine operating hours or
• rst 100 hours of ight operating time,
whichever applies rst.
Depending on applicable national regulations inspections every 100 ight hours may be mandated
depending on the mode of operation as if an Annual Inspection were being done.
