10. LIST OF SPECIAL TOOLS
The following list includes tools, which may be required for maintenance of the S12 in addition to
standard tools normally available in facilities performing maintenance on light aircraft.
• Precision protractor for propeller blade adjustment.
• Torque wrench.
• Spark plug wrench.
• Borescope.
• Micrometer.
• Inclinometer.
• Spring scale (up to approx. 250 N / 56.20 lbf).

TCU Communication Program (ROTAX Monitoring Kit, refer to Maintenance Manual (Heavy
Maintenance) for ROTAX Engine Types 912 and 914 Series, section 76-00, subsection 3.1.1.

Further tools and devices for maintenance of the engine: See Maintenance Manual (Heavy

• Re-ll Adapter for hydraulic brake system (P/N: 00FO-B17.)
