5. Remove Trendelenburg sensor and disconnect
from connector (see Figure 7-44).
6. Reassemble in reverse order and adjust tabletop to
level.

Replacement
7.29 TILT SENSOR REPLACEMENT
Replace tilt sensor as follows:
1. Position tabletop to level, slide to maximum head
end.
2. Turn Main Power Switch to OFF and remove
battery fuse (refer to supplied Operator Manual for
more information).
3. Remove tabletop seat section per S
ECTION 7.20.1,
S
EAT SECTION.
4. Remove seat plastic cover as follows:
a. Remove four top and four side screws from
both head-side and foot-side seat cover
(see Figure 7-33).
b. Slide plastic covers to remove from table.
5. Remove tilt sensor and disconnect from connector
(see Figure 7-45).
6. Reassemble in reverse order and adjust tabletop to
level.

7.30 SLIDE (TRANSLATION) SENSOR
REPLACEMENT
Replace slide (translation) sensor as follows:
1. Position tabletop to level, slide to maximum head
end.
2. Turn Main Power Switch to OFF and remove
battery fuse (refer to supplied Operator Manual for
more information).
3. Remove tabletop seat section per S
ECTION 7.20.1,
S
EAT SECTION.
4. Remove seat plastic cover as follows:
a. Remove four top and four side screws from
both head-side and foot-side seat cover
(see Figure 7-33).
b. Slide plastic covers to remove from table.
5. While holding cable, disconnect cable from left-end
of set section. Slowly allow cable to retract.
6. Loosen both mounting screws (see Figure 7-46).
7. Remove slide sensor and disconnect from CPU
motherboard (P76 connector).
8. Reassemble in reverse order and adjust tabletop to
level.
