4. Remove seat plastic cover as follows:
a. Remove four top and four side screws from
both head-side and foot-side seat cover
(see Figure 7-33).
b. Slide plastic covers to remove from table.
5. Disconnect motor and sliding power board (see
Figure 7-47).

6. Loosen both mounting screws.
7. Remove cover bracket head-side mounting screw
(see Figure 7-48).
8. Loosen cover bracket foot-side mounting screw
enough to remove board.
9. Reassemble in reverse order and adjust tabletop to
level.
10. Slide tabletop fully to head-end and then fully to
foot-end several times to ensure proper operation.

7.32 SLIDE (TRANSLATION) MOTOR
REPLACEMENT
Replace slide (translation) motor as follows:
1. Position tabletop to level, slide to maximum head
end.
2. Turn Main Power Switch to OFF and remove
battery fuse (refer to supplied Operator Manual for
more information).
3. Remove tabletop seat section per S
ECTION 7.20.1,

EAT SECTION.
4. Remove seat plastic cover as follows:
a. Remove four top and four side screws from
both head-side and foot-side seat cover
(see Figure 7-33).
b. Slide plastic covers to remove from table.
5. Remove chain plastic cover.
6. Remove cover bracket above motor
(see Figure 7-49)

7. Disconnect motor.
8. Remove all three motor support screws.
9. Loosen chain tension screw and remove chain from
motor gear (see Figure 7-50).

10. Remove sliding motor.
11. Reassemble in reverse order and adjust tabletop
to level.
NOTE: Do not overtighten chain.
