Directives and guidelines
impair the active and/or passive drivingsafety.
The manufacturers are in no way responsible
for any damage caused by the use of non-orig-
inal parts and accessories.
Directives and guidelines
In most countries, the national directives and
guidelines for proper usage of these trucks
must be observed. We therefore ask you
to please contact the relevant authorities or
speak to the authorised representatives for
more information. You as the operator are
responsible for this.
Driver’s licence
In most countries, a driver’s licence is required
to operate these trucks.
Please check whether a driver’s licence is re-
quired to operate this truck in your country.
This driver’s licence serves as proof that com-
prehensive training has been completed. As
the operating company, you are responsible
for ensuring that this requirement is fulfilled.
We recommend that yo
u contact your branch
or specialist repre
sentative. They will be able
to offer you the rele
vant training and tests
required to obtain
your driver’s licence.
Alterations to in
dustrial trucks
Operating compan
ies may only make alter-
ations or arrange
for alterations to be made
to self-propelle
d industrial trucks if the indus-
trial truck manu
facturer has withdrawn from
business and the
re is no business successor.
However, operat
ing companies must:
Ensure that any alterations being made and
all associated safety issues are planned,
checked and performed by a specialist
engineer for industrial trucks
Have permanent records of the construc-
tion, test(s) and execution of the alterations
