8) Check the continuity between Br/W wire “B” and terminal
“10”. Also, check the continuity between B/Br wire “C”
and terminal “24”.

(B): 09900–25009 (Needle pointed probe set)

Go to Step 2. Br/W wire shorted to
VCC, or B/Br wire open.

1 1) Remove the air cleaner box. Refer to “Air Cleaner Box
Removal and Installation in Section 1D (Page 1D-5)”.
2) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
3) Check the TO sensor coupler for loose or poor contacts.
If OK, then check the TO sensor lead wire continuity.
Go to Step 2. R or B wire open, or Br/
W wire shorted to the
ground.
