Starter Torque Limiter / Starter Idle Gear
• Apply molybdenum oil solution to the starter idle gear
pin.
M/O: Molybdenum oil (MOLYBDENUM OIL
SOLUTION)
• Install the starter idle gear (1).
• Install the bushings (2) into the crankcase and
generator cover.
NOTE
Apply molybdenum oil solution to the inside
of the bushings.
M/O: Molybdenum oil (MOLYBDENUM OIL
SOLUTION)
• Install the starter torque limiter (3) with washers (4).
Generator
• Install the generator component parts. Refer to
“Generator Removal and Installation in Section 1J
(Page 1J-4)”.
NOTE
Fit the clamp to the bolt “A”.
Starter Cup
• Apply grease to the O-ring and lip of the oil seal.
• Install the starter cup (1).
: Grease 99000–25010 (SUZUKI SUPER
GREASE A or equivalent)
