Measure the battery voltage between
input lead wires (O/W and B/W) at the
ignitor with the ignition switch in the Incorrect • Faulty ignition switch
“ON” position. • Faulty turn signal/side-stand
relay
• Faulty engine stop switch
Correct • Broken wire harness or poor
connection of related circuit
couplers
Measure the ignition coil primary peak
voltage. (& 8-18) Inspect the spark plugs.
NOTE: The ignition coil peak voltage
