THROTTLE BODY INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal. Pay attention to
the following points:
• Connect the sensor lead wire couplers.
TP sensor lead wire coupler 1: Black
• Connect the throttle pulling cable 2 and throttle returning
cable 3 to the throttle cable drum.
• Loosen each throttle cable lock-nut.
• Turn in each throttle cable adjuster fully and locate each outer
cable so that the clearance is 0 mm (0 in).
• Tighten each lock-nut.
• Adjust the throttle cable play. (Page 18-16)
* TP sensor lead wire coupler and STP sensor lead
wire coupler resemble each other very closely in
external appearance.
* Make sure to check the color of coupler before
installing.
Once the ISC valve has been removed or replaced, the
ISC valve preset and DTC clear must be performed
using SDS tool with the hrottle body assembled.
