FUEL PUMP AND FUEL LEVEL GAUGE REMOVAL
REMOVAL
• Remove the fuel tank. (!VL800K5-93)
• Remove the fuel pump assembly
1 mounting bolts diago-
nally.

• Disconnect the fuel gauge lead wire coupler
2 before remove
the fuel pump assembly.
• Remove the fuel level gauge
3 from the fuel tank by pushing
the pawl end

Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
Keep heat, spark and flame away.
Do not pull the lead wire when removing the fuel level
gauge.
