• Place a rug on the cylinder head cap 2.
• Open the cylinder head cover cap 2 as shown.
• Disconnect the spark plug caps 3.
• Remove the spark plugs 4 with the special tools.

HEAT RANGE
• Check spark plug heat range by observing electrode color. If it
is white or glazed appearing, replace the spark plug with
colder type one.

CARBON DEPOSITS
• Check carbon deposits on the spark plug.
• If carbon is deposited, remove it using a spark plug cleaner
machine or carefully use a tool with a pointed end.
The hot engine can burn you. Wait until the engine are
cool enough to touch.
