18-12 VL800/C/TK9 (’09-MODEL)
• Remove the PAIR pipe bolts (Rear cylinder).
• Remove the gasket 5.

• Remove the inspection caps.
• Remove the generator cover plug 6.
• Remove the cap 7 and timing inspec ion plug 8.
• Rotate the generator rotor to set the No.1 (Rear) cylinder at
TDC of the compression stroke. (Rotate the rotor until the “R I
T” line on the rotor is aligned with the center of hole on the
generator cover.)
Do not reuse the removed gasket.
