DNX-11 DC Power
The DC-powered version of the DNX-11 contains two integrated -48VDC power supplies (part
number MKT-006-11048). To take advantage of the redundant power supplies, the DNX-11
requires two -48 volt DC power connections.
DC Power Requirements
The DNX-11 is designed to operate on -48 volt DC power, at a maximum of 3 amps, 200 watts.
Requirements for the actual power connection are as follows:
• The supply wiring should be 12 to 16 AWG.
• The -48VDC supply should be electrically isolated from any AC source.
• The -48VDC source should be reliably connected to earth ground.
• The DNX-11 shall be installed in accordance with 110-16, 110-17, and 110-18 of the
National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA No. 70.
DC Power Fuses
The power supply on this DNX-11 model contains an integral 10A, 250V Fast-Acting fuse.
