■DISASSEMBLING CLUTCH PACK
The explanation given below is made using the
forward/reverse clutch pack. The explanation
about other clutch packs is omitted because they
are similar in construction to the forward/reverse
clutch pack.
① Remove the three seal rings (1) from the shaft.
② Using a puller (1), remove the forward gear
along with the bearing and thrust washer.
Remove the thrust washer from inside.
③ Remove the snap ring (1) from the clutch
drum.
