■REASSEMBLING CLUTCH PACK
The explanation given below is made using the
forward/reverse clutch pack. The explanation
about other clutch packs is omitted because they
are similar in construction to the forward/reverse
clutch pack.
① Install the seal ring (1) on the outer diameter
of the piston.
② Install the seal ring (1) on the clutch shaft.
③ Install the piston assembly (1).
④ Install the return spring (1). Using a jig (4),
compress the return spring (1) along with the
retainer (2) and snap ring (3) till the snap ring
groove and secure it with the snap ring (3).
