Install the rear cover (1) in the pump body
half 2 (2) with its gasket pointed downward.

Install the four bolts (1) and spring washers
(2),andtightenthemtothespeciedtorque:
88 - 98 N-m {9 - 10 kgf-m}
[65.1 - 72.3 lbs-ft]

Remove the pump from the vise and put it on
a work bench.
Apply grease on the area between the lips and
on the outer diameter of a new oil seal (1).
Install it on the oil seal guide shown in Fig.
3.422.
Put it on the drive shaft (2) of the pump, and
install the oil seal (1) onto the front cover (4)
with an oil seal snap (3).
