6.2.2 TREAD BELT RELAXED (EFFECTS: NOISY TREAD BELT)
The belt must lightly touch the front bearing. More specically, there must be a maximum
gap of 1 mm to 2 mm between the belt and the front bearing. The belt may lightly touch the
bearing, but must not be overtensioned: as soon as the belt is in contact with the bearing,
do not rotate the front pin bolt any further. Tuen both the right and left bolts on the front
roller to maintain the parallelism.
Maintain the parallelism of the rollers. This is important as regards the position of the tread
belt on the equipment. Turn one half turn at a time, both on the right and on the left side of
the roller.
